Ok so I'm a mom!! My daughter always wants me to push her up to an extension when I'm in the pool so she can stunt. Now my daughter is about 15 more pounds then the girl in this picture (this is her friend) I just the other day after trying all summer was able to get this girl up to an extension! I was so proud of myself ... To bad my face was so ugly I had to use a cat to cover it lol.
My daughter is tight but for some reason I can get her above my head and hold her but I physically do not have the strength to push up another 6 inches to be fully extended. I'm trying to work on that! I know it would make my daughter so happy! So I have only achieved part of my goal as I can put someone up!!!! Yay.. Now I just need it to be my daughter.
So this a partial brag post as I have not achieved my goal lol...
I can now do my daughter!!!! Yes!! Next goal is to do her on one leg but that will not be easy! She was thrilled!! Sorry for my dumb brags .. It means a lot to her!

They do that, don't they? I did have a moment at the shoot when I realized this. Learned one can be proud and sad concurrently.

The photographer (Ben Boozer - look him up on fb and IG) had the idea in his head to show the strong, not-so-perfectly-coifed, athletic side of cheer that we don't see in typical pics. And he chose her, not based on physique or looks, but on her positive, smiley, goofy attitude...I love that!
He's not at all expensive, either!

Not cheer related but Congratulations to Angel Rice (Stingrays Allstars) and Hope Bravo (now Spirit of Texas). Angel is a Jr Elite power tumbler and Hope is a Jr Elite power tumbler and trampolinist. Both were named to the USA Jr National Team and Worlds Age Team and both will be attending the Worlds Age Championship in Sophia, Bulgaria this November. Both will represent USA in Tumbling division for ages 15-16 yrs old. National team training will take place at Karolyi ranch at end of Sept. These two young ladies put numerous hours in the gym both for cheer and TnT and it has certainly paid off. Please show your support and cheer them on!! Thank you :)
