Wow!! Great point! While I understand that many gym have non-profit booster clubs that can be used for athlete expenses I find it offensive that a gym that is advertising their non-profit entity as a scholarship fund for underprivileged kids would spend the $$$ to purchase and customize a tour bus like they did. That kind of excess in light of who they are trying to say they are is gross.
Seriously? You people realize ANYBODY can issue a press release with fake quotes, edited quotes and make anything seem like a "legitimate" story, right? You people are exactly what PT Barnum was referring to.
Any "reporter" can investigate its legitimacy (oh except the "reporter" from CBS who did the Trinity story on the high school recruiting and was promptly fired the next day by the News Director of WGCL for a falsified story) Bet you guys don't want to hear about that, of course.
By the way, the moon really is made of cheese.....
Well my daughter cheers there and I wouldn't necessarily say I live in the "ghetto". But I do travel approximately 40 miles one way for her to get to practice. It's amazing to me that before one of the biggest competitions of the season, yet again our kids are surrounded by foolishness when they should be focused on what they need to do on the mat. How is it even possible that I missed that memo about the Lohan girl and I've stepped foot in that gym every day since last Friday? That's a pretty big memo. I'm confused.

THANK YOU. That's my biggest problem with this gym. The owner on her twitter posts the most materialistic things ever, along w/ the bus, coaches comments, and all other emphasis on money. If you're really working with underprivileged kids, don't you think it's a bit inappropriate and offensive to be stressing the importance of money and excess all the time? That'd be like hanging out with people in Ethiopia and eating 50 pcs of KFC wings in front of them.
So trinity is denying it, Yahoo is confirming it... IDK what is going on, but why is it ALWAYS Trinity involved?
You're welcome ;)I'd like to thank this thread for existing. Not only does the sheer ridiculousness brighten my horrendous day, but I also got about 50 shimmies. Great way to start off pre-NCA! :D
If you believe this trash I have a beach house in Idaho for sale. I could say grass in my yard is blue. That's bizarre but it doesn't make it true and it only took 2 seconds from conception to keyboard.Just playing devil's advocate here. People are saying that because the story is so bizarre that they don't think there's any way the reporter came up with it on his/her own.
I came back from work to 57 notifications. I was terrified. You're welcome ;)

I saw it. It just grinds my gears. No apologies needed. I just want it clear that a lot of families aren't from the Johns Creek area. Yes it's a wealthy area but just because I don't live there doesn't mean we live in the ghetto by any means of the word. We travel a long way because there are great coaches there and all of the cheerleaders are wonderful kids. My daughter has flourished at Trinity and for me that's all that matters.sorry it wasnt directed at anybody in particular i was paraphrashing what an athlete from the gym had mentioned in an earlier thread about himself and other athletes at the gym, heres the thread of you wanted to see.

"I pushed her into a doing a double, that was a bust"It's because she learned from Ms. Norberry how to be a pusher. Shes going to push these kids to their full potential.
Without anyone getting all upset I was wondering how you feel like your gyms name got involved with all of this, has anyone in the gym asked? Just curious. ThanksI saw it. It just grinds my gears.
