Well, that just solidifies my opinion that Trinity's marketing plan is based solely in decisions that produce the greatest shock value.

How is Lindsay going to be able to relate to these kids? The article says she'll talk to them about how she has struggled in life and overcome adversity? Yeah, cause ruining your career and blowing your millions of dollars on booze and drugs is really relatable to those kids. I mean it's not like she's the first child star gone bad...

I'd like to point out she hasn't overcome adversity yet. Is she not doing this to work off community service hours.

Not only that, but the vast majority of her adversity is self inflicted. I mean, yeah, her parents are nuts, but beyond that, anything she's had to or is currently trying to overcome she's done to herself. I mean, I always get hammered, wreck my cars, make bad movies, steal jewelry, don't show up to my court dates, get special treatment cause I'm "famous"... all the while wondering where my millions went. But that doesn't mean I should mentor anyone.

Since competitive cheerleaders are fine tuned athletes and tend to stay in top physical shape, maybe the cheerleaders should be "mentoring" Lohan instead of the other way around.

That's what I've been wondering. It said "where they train dancers and cheerleaders" and then later "olympic hopefuls." I mean, unless I missed the memo about cheer or dance becoming an olympic sport.... ;)
