to start, you upload video clips to "events" then edit them to however you want & drag them to the top part which is your "project".

when making a new project if you choose one of the themes it will automatically put in it's own transitions so if you want to customize it & choose your own choose the none option.

adding pictures & music is easy just use the buttons with the music note & camera on them towards the right.

it's pretty easy to figure out if you just play with it but if you have any questions feel free to ask!
also control-option-command 8 just invert/reverts your screen colors:)
