-Always look up at your flyer
-Always use your legs rather than arms/back to lift
-if the stunt is not even with your other base or you need to scoop up the stunt in a save, bend the knees to get more under the stunt rather than trying to lower or bend the arms
-Lock out those arms in extended stunts
-Elbows in! In an extended stunt, they should be squeezed right at your temples. In a non extended stunt they should be squeezed in at your sides. In a stunt where you are twisting the foot (360s, full ups, etc.), you will start out with the twisting hand at around a 90 degree angle but that elbow should be snapped in to your side to twist!
-Your wrists should be as close as they can get under the flyer's foot (depending on how big or small her shoe size is in regards to your hands), to provide more stability for her to stand on
-If your flyer starts falling/bending her knee to bail, etc., know when to let the foot go and step in to catch
-ALWAYS step in to catch.
-Stagger your feet a little (one foot a little in front of the other) so that you are more stable as a main. If the stunt starts getting pushed over your head, you will have more leverage in getting it back to center, rather than just falling backwards because you aren't balanced.
