Top Gun Jags this past season: Globes in the cage, rings like what? (I think!) CP (TG obsessed) is still convinced it's:

"Girls in a cage sings like whut"---and I'm "please, there are NO GIRLS IN A CAGE!"

Iggy Azalea's rapping led me to think she was singing black widdle baby instead of black widow baby. :eek:

My boyfriend also thought it was black little baby...and he refuses to sing otherwise...

Janet Jackson's we go deep, there a line during the prechorus that goes, "all the guys at the club"; My interpretation: "all the guys will f*** up". Until my brother said I was making a big deal for no reason.

Also, that Chandelier song- I thought "party girls don't get hurt" was "body rock.. Don't get hurt."

And "I'm gonna swing from the chandelier" as "I'm gonna scream from the chandelier"- I swear, I tell everyone that "scream" makes a lot more sense in context!

This is probably only funny to us but my Cp14's team last year had a VoiceOver that said "karma to the floor"

Which actually sounded exactly like "karma junior four"

Which was awkward because they were J5.

To Iggy's defense, she isn't singing the chorus! Rita Ora is.

In another non cheer related misheard lyric, I thought the Faith Evan's song Love Like This Before was saying Bang Bang Christopher when I was little. I love that song probably because of it.

My mom was driving down the road singing "Stay With Me" and says to me "this song is so sweet"

I was like "really?....you know what it's about right".

And she went into some spill about a happy relationship

And I had to inform her that it's really about telling your "friend" they can get their overnight bag out if the car but just for the night

I'm about 95% sure it says "bet ya ain't ever, ever seen the best dressed like the rest"
But the way she says it it sounds like betcha without the 'a' on the end. Lol
