Premier Gymnastics and Cheer Academy ... is this a new gym in nj around the marlboro/freehold/ rt9 area? does anyone know anything... cant find it on google..

I believe most of the states represented on these boards would say that their state or their area has too many cheer gyms already and it would make better sense to just go to one of the already established gyms. But isn't it the American way to be able to open and build your own business? Sometimes people believe they can do something better, for a lower cost, with a different style, or with a level of integrity that they may not see other places. Other times they want to serve a specific market or demographic they feel not adequately represented in their area. Other times it is about power and greed and not being able (or wanting) to work with other owners/coaches.

No matter which they have the right to do it. If it remains viable as a gym or not is another story. That is the free market system at work.

I know JK Gymnastics had a cheer program in Morganville (as well as a gymnastics program in Old Bridge) and move BOTH of them to the Old NJ Cheer Factory, which is now JK Athletic Center. This program may have moved into the old space that they had in Morganville.

uuhh.... im not saying they dont have that right? sooo way to put words in my mouth? i guess? way to over analyze things..

I officially got the scoop today: ok, so, we all know that Jonas sold and became Classic Gymnastics (Jonas Angels --> Classic Rising Stars) .. Classic closed in May/June .. all of those kids went over to JK Gymnastics in Old Bridge which was opened by a former employee of Jonas. When Classic closed, all of the teams went over to JK (gymnatics and cheer). The son of the landlord that owns the Jonas/Classic/ now Premier building (202 commercial ct, morganville) has taken over the building and 2 former employees are running the ship. The old owner, trish, trashed the place so everything is brand new and redone. So we shall see how this year pans out. and i definitely wish them the best of luck!
