For those wondering! Looks like it is a merger as the coaches on the tryout info are coaches from a gym called Fierce Athletics who are closing after this season

Whether it's a merger or a buyout or they just hired a bunch of people that all used to work somewhere else depends on the transaction and resulting ownership. I don't think we have that information.
