5R is the new 5 and remains a Summit division.Question:
7 is new 6.
6 is new 5.
5R is no longer a thing, correct?
Does 5 become the new 4?
Is 5 still a Worlds division? Or just 6 and 7?
5R is the new 5 and remains a Summit division.
D2 allows athletes to cross multiple lebels. D1 is only one level
D2 summit last season only allowed world's athletes to cross down to level 4.
Ok. I know in the lower levels, you could cross multiple levels (ie crossing from s4 to j2). I wonder if d2 will allow 6 to 4 this year. I’m being told d1 will not
they will just have tryouts in April/March for summit..........nothing changesI have noticed some gyms doing crossovers with Level 6 worlds to Level 4 already.. I hope they clarify this because that can be detrimental to teams make-up and success.
Per Varsity on our Summit page, the rules of today apply for next season, just update levels accordingly.
Example - currently Level 5 can cross to R5 and 4 at Summit. So Level 6 can cross to 5 and 4 next year.
