I just got an 8 year old cat. She seems to be settling into her new home quite well, but she has these random mood swings where she'll hiss and yowl at me. Idk what's going on. I of course did my research by watching the first 2 seasons of My Cat from Hell on Netflix, but I can't figure out why she suddenly freaks out. There is nothing to trigger it. I thought maybe she's sensitive on a part of her body, or doesn't like a certain sound, like the microwave or running water, but that's not it. She's been to the vet & is healthy. I just have no idea what makes her tick. I think she's just nervous & unsure of her new situation (it's been less than a month since we've adopted her). Any cat people out there? Anyone have any experience with an aggressive cat?
I feel like I'm writing a "Dear Abby" letter.
