THANK YOU GUYS!!!! I really appreciate all the help.

If anyone was wondering why the questions are so random it's because we are testing data for bias/normality/and running it through programs so we just need a lot of data. So we picked easy to answer questions. My friends have all been teasing me that it sounds like data from a dating website.

The same thing happened to me right before easter. Mine wouldnt turn on the day that it happened but the next day it did. If possible let it sit for awhile to dry out and then turn it back on.
It worked this morning! Thanks!

Any good computer people? I need your advice. My laptop was in my backpack, so was my water bottle. Water bottle opened in back pack. My whole laptop did not get wet cause it was on its side standing up, but the fan got a little wet. Took battery out right when we noticed and put it where any possible water inside would be able to drain out. What do I now? I can't afford to buy a new laptop right now and that computer had at least three projects for my finals that I had not saved yet. I'm screwed. Is there hope for the computer?

I'll preface this with telling you I'm not a computer tech, but thus worked for me in a similar situation. I took out the battery and stuck it in a big a$$ bag of rice for 24 hours. I also set up an external fan on the computer itself for 6-8 hours to dry that off. Once I connected it back up after 24 hours it worked. That method also worked for my android phone as both were on my bag at the time. Good luck!
