I had to shimmy this, then unshimmy just to shimmy again.
Just from reading the title "The Testing" I could have told you what it was most likely about and I've never ever heard of those books. Also, I feel like Kylie and Kendall's view of a dystopian world is actually just middle/lower class living but like...
They need to stop making every book into a movie and then splitting the last one into two movies. Harry Potter didn't even do that right so y'all can stop. I can promise you that Mockingjay doesn't need to be split into two movies (mainly because it was the worst book).
And while we're on the topic of disappointing books - Is anyone as frustrated as I am with the Mortal Instruments series? I can't find any motivation to finish anything past the third book. First off, it's so repetitive with the whole Jace and Clary thing. Every single freaking page is the same thing over and over. JUST STOP. It might be worse than the Tris/Four nonsense that is dragged on through the whole Divergent series - which is the only reason I haven't finished (or probably wont) Allegiant. I can't help but feel like I am reading the author's personal fantasy fanfic of herself in this enchanted world that she got published. I mean the main characters name is Clary and the authors "stage name" is Cassandra Clare. Clary and this fantasy world have so much in common with Clare's real life that it's not exactly coincidental. Idk, the fact that the author is a 40 year old woman writing a personal version of a romantic fantasy for teenagers is all very creepy to me too. The books aren't even written well. It's literally published fan fiction. But then again, it been rumored that 50 Shades is too, so.....
Whatevs. Wake me up when there's some new, original, good quality book.
