I have an iPad and I use it for a lot of things! If your school uses blackboard there is an app and I often pull up a lot of my assignments and homework as reference on my iPad then actually complete it on my computer. I wouldn't rely on e-books on an iPad but I've used it in some cases when I had the physical book and then gotten an online code and I've enjoyed it.So I am going to be a freshman in college this upcoming year. My parents recently asked me if I would want an iPad as my graduation gift. My mom thinks it would be easier to carry around than a laptop and maybe there would be online textbook options I could buy on the iPad. So my question for you all is, would an iPad actually be useful to me in college? I have a MacbookPro that is 2 years old and an iPhone 5. Normally I would jump at the chance for an iPad, but with going to college I'm just not sure how much practical/educational use I would get out of an iPad? Let me know what you think!

Saw this pic on tumblr. Do the fame unis zip up the side? I can't tell if it's unzipped or ripped. Kind of looks like it could zip to me?

I will keep this in mind as I'm brining my laptop and iPad to college in a few weeks! Thanks for sharingI say, yes, you'll love it. My NonCP didn't want an iphone 5, wanted something that she wanted, loves it. Didn't want an ipad, wanted something that she wanted, loves it. She is 17. (sniff, sniff, sniff, not ready for senior year HS)
There is an app called Notability. It was either free or .99. It is amazing. You can synch large documents and things from your computer through Dropbox. Write on the document in Notability and it all stays right there. You can type into the document or "red ink" mark it up. You can take photos of something and include in on the pages. You just need to find useful apps.
