sorry any bostoners (?) but Montreal deserved that series.. Boston can thank KARMA for that one.. hope no one takes this personally but the disrespect Montreal faced in Boston is disgusting.. fans booing a black man (did you forget that his BLACK brother was drafted to boston? ;)), players squirting water, players threatening players.. etc etc. so impressed with Montreal that they were able to use that motivation instead of getting involved!

oh and price is the best goalie ever bye :cheering:

So it's ok for Montreal to boo Chara everytime he touched the puck in Montreal? The double standard isn't okay and I think playing the race card here is totally unfair.

teams boo good players. in every single arena. often, they boo the captains. "playing the race card" is COMPLETELY fair considering they boo'ed him, decided to make comments about how he shouldn't be in the nhl because "n*****s don't belong in hockey" and then boo him twice as loud after Boston apologizes for the fans.

Now that the Bruins are out I'm rooting for the Blackhawks. They've always been my faves since I started following hockey.

On another note, I AM DONE WITH MY SOPHOMORE YEAR OF COLLEGE! Took my last final today! Don't even feel happy because I am so tired and mentally exhausted. But at least it's over.

I guess I don't see how it's fair to compare the two. Like you said, every team boos the good players in their arena but once it's a black person it's automatically an issue with race? I don't like double standards and this is ridiculous.

no.. its an issue with race because the same fans are tweeting about his race and discriminating against him..

Well you didn't say that. You said they were booing because of race (or at least that's how I interpreted it) if people are tweeting that black people don't belong in the NHL then they are idiots. I just don't agree with people getting upset for booing Subban when they do it to Chara.
