I got them done on a Friday morning so I missed class that day, laid low for the weekend and was back on Monday. All I remember was that it was spirit week for Homecoming that week and everyone was taking pictures. Of course mine came out looking like a chipmunk.

I've always had a pretty high pain tolerance so it wasn't awful for me. I took a pain pill in the morning and another one once that one started wearing off after lunch. It was nice being that young because I still had my mom to take care of me and cook special things for me. Pain wise it would probably be the same for me now at 23 but I'd have to fend for myself which would suck, hahah

Wow, you really have a high tolerance for pain and you probably one of those women who are able to handle natural childbirth. That pain of a Wisdom teeth extraction ranked right next to giving birth without pain relief. For me, it was a type of pain that you will never forget nor wished on your worse enemy...

I just wanted to brag that I started working RO BHS tucks this weekend. I had to work the last little while to fix up the BHS so I could tuck, but I threw 10 yesterday with spot. Not ready to go on my own yet, but give me another month oh so, and I think I'll be back here bragging about getting a new skill!!

I had to give you more than just 1 shimmy, but also say, GO GIRL!:cheering:

Has anyone on here been on a carnival cruise? We're looking at one for senior trip and I was just wondering if it's worth it. The one we will probably be going on is 7 days and stops at Cozumel, Cayman Islands, and Cancun.

I have been on 2 Carnival and 1 Royal Caribbean. I know most people say RC is better but we thought Carnival was MUCH better. More fun, better service and better ships. Carnival had clubs open all day and night and things to do all of the time whereas RC had specific clubs open only certain times and scheduled activities. With Carnival we did Western Caribbean and Eastern Caribbean. I liked the Eastern ports better. Do NOT go off on your own in Mexico. We rented mopeds and while my friend and I were shopping my DH and his buddy got pulled over for no reason and had to pay the cops $100 each to stay out of jail. I will never step foot in that country again. I am not a cruiser, but we did have a blast on all of our cruises. We just had to work a little harder to have fun on the RC one.

I haven't been on any Carnival cruised just Disney but I have been to Cozumel and the Cayman Islands. I think a cruise would be a great senior trip with friends. Cozumel and Cayman Islands are both beautiful and there is great shopping and a lot of fun things to do.

Girl, you never lie on that matter... I laugh because both my husbands were in the room with me when I was having my son(ex-husband) and daughter (husband) and the 2 never wanted to have anymore children and they just witnessed the childbirth process... My ex-husband had 2 more kids with his new wife, but I was told he refused to be in the birthing room again...too much pain, I guess!

Ironically, a lot of men don't flinch at blood and gore... but childbirth is enough to give them PTSD. I was watching an episode of the Tyra Banks show and a man was on it talking about how he could no longer eat or sleep because seeing his wife give birth traumatized him.

Yes, my husband love watching those slasher and gory zombies and vampire movies with people being eaten, but I am not able to handle watching those movies and he makes fun of me...But I guess childbirth was just too real for him,,, haha

I been on a Disney cruise last year and loved it... We had everything imaginable and the crew was so accommodating, I am planning to go again next year, but this will be a birthday surprise for my daughter - (will be 13 next year)

To be honest, I think a Disney cruise might not be a good thing for graduating Seniors... Maybe too immature for your crowd... My Sister-in-Law spoke highly about Carnival cruise line, but I never personally experienced this ship...

Lol Disney is not too mature for graduating seniors! I just went on one and I'm 20. My brother went to and he's 25. You don't have to do any of the kid-ish things. Love DCL so much. A surprise cruise for your daughter is such a fun idea! My parents did the same for my siblings and I for a few of the cruises we went on. How are you planning on telling her?

I love the Disney cruise as a grown up and I was just thinking about the mindset of Seniors in HS... It can be a wonderful thing, but only thing these HS Seniors are thinking about is Mickey and Co. and not the other Adult activities they can partake in, that is all I was considering when I say that Disney Cruise is too immature...

How to spring the Surprise -
I probably tell her we are going back to Disney World and pull up in front of the cruise ship again, which she will love even more than WDW because of the Teen club they had on the ship. This time my husband will be going with us, so we probably won't see her at all during the cruise. This could be a second honeymoon for us too...
