I agree with glitterdiva. The brace will be noticeable regardless of shoe so why not get the new ones if those are the ones you want :)

I was looking at getting a pair, but I wear an ankle brace on my right foot that is black. Would it be a distraction with the shoes, or should I just get a new pair of evolutions?

Wouldn't be a problem at all. You cant see through in the heel of the shoe. Just towards the middle and the front. Hope this is helpful

I'm tempted to order them but with the shipping and everything they're so expensive! I currently have the Nike Cheer Flash, which I like but they tend to feel quite heavy...

Any insight from some bases? :)

I like to stick with the evolution because I heard a lot of not so good things about the vengeance. There's a thread on it :-)

Ok I have a sizing question! I'm a US size 5 in normal shoes, but someone told me that Vengeance run small so does anyone know what size I would need to get for them to fit me?

We use the evolutions but they are all about two sizes up from the true size. My cp wears a 2 and she sized in a 4.

My cp wears a 2 and she is sized in a 4.5. It's because the 2 is kids sized and the the 4 and ups are women's! Lol which makes it soooo difficult for sizing that's why I prefer the try on method. Lol to bad that's not always possible!

People going from kids sized to women's size have to go up 2 to 2.5 sizes.

But if you wear a US size 5 I'm assuming that's a women's size.

In that case I would go up a whole size to size 6.


If the US 5 is in kids then I would go with a 7 maybe even 7.5.

My guess would be that you are referring to a women's size 5 so yes a 6 should be good for you.

If they are vengeance they should. I know my daughters vengeance weren't sized like her evolutions no matter what a rep says. So with that being said you should be able to wear the 6.5 just fine!!!

Ok great! I currently have Tigers (I know, so old fashioned!) and they're a 5, but when my friend who has the same size of feet as me got her Phoenix she had to sent her 5s back and get a 6. The sizing is just crazy sometimes.
