what in the world does that include?! I normally don't pay that much for my kids' prom dresses!Ours is now $300
Ok NO clue how I just found this out but my old tumbling coach is permanently banned from USASF and has criminal charges for sexually assaulting a minor?! I used to do private lessons with him as a kid. I’m so disgusted. Why do people suck!?
hello fierce friends, long time no see (basically dropped off the face of the planet during college lol). howwwww does one decide what to do with their life after college? I graduate with my MBA in May 2020 (just graduated BSIE as part of a 4 + 1 program) but am interning rn and my manager wants me to have an offer in my hands when I leave which is kinda freaking me out. That being said... anyone have experience living in Seattle, Philadelphia, or Charleston and want to share their thoughts??
Do you know what industry/field you want? It's ok if you don't.
Obvious tips are have a strong resume/cover letter, apply to as many jobs as you can, clean up/lock down your social media, and prepare for whatever interviews you land.
Apart from Indeed and LinkedIn, don't be afraid to check out Craigslist for jobs - sometimes you find weirdos but sometimes legitimate businesses/startups who need to fill a position quickly will post openings there, too. (But obviously research the situation before hand.)
ETA: I offer the Craigslist tip since your manager is pushing a deadline on you... but don't be disappointed if you don't meet that deadline. The job hunt game is tricky and 50% of it is stuff you have no control over. Also, don't settle for anything you don't want just because your manager has given you a deadline. Be picky about what you want out of the new company and what it will mean for your career path.
