I use the phone app lot for the boards now and I miss the shimmy’s and other emojis. [emoji20].
my CP is my favorite son.

How does a shimmy compare to a thumbs up? Same thing, essentially, I assume?

I miss all the shimmy/emojis we have on the boards. Just not an option using the Tapatalk app. [emoji20]

I know this a long shot but can anyone explain to me the background of the Twinkles doc? I know it was almost ten years ago but I have questions.
The coaches mention that the year before (2011) they hit at NCA but lost to a team with deductions.
But then the year after (2012) they fell all over the place on day 1, but still were in first?
I know that score sheets change etc. etc., but I can’t really make this fit together on my head.
For reference:
I need the angry hitting head on a brick wall one at least weekly.Pretty much. Shimmy's have their own counter. I believe that what the trophies are based off of. Shimmys, thumbs up, funny, and informative are logged under the "Positive Ratings" counter, iirc. The rest under logged as "Negative Ratings".
I wish sad jammy and the cloud 9 smilie we have here were real world emojis. I find a use for both outside of Fierceboard like every week.

Could the winning team in both situations have had such a significantly higher raw score that the deductions didn’t change the standings? I didn’t watch the video but that’s my best guess.
They were against Stingrays Teal in 2011. You also have to remember that there was a split in Y5 in 2012, so there was a true level 5 as well as a Restricted Y5. Twinkles were in the restricted division in 2012. 2013-present it has only been restricted (well, it is just level 5 as of this season).Could be, yes, but Twinkles had quite a few mistakes on NCA 2012 Day 1 so it’s hard for me to imagine they could’ve possibly been in first.
Then again, I think their division (Youth 5, want to say?) is a limited one. From what I gather it’s a division that doesn’t host a lot of teams because it’s hard to scrape up that much talent among such young kids. So maybe, as far as 2012 went, the competition wasn’t as intense. I can’t find video or results from that time so I’m just guesstimating.
ETA: yeah they only had one other team going against them and the skills disparity was pretty significant. Which begs the question of who beat them with deductions in 2011? Google is failing so hard right now.
Y5 has always been a tiny division; even big gyms have a hard time fielding them. J5 has become increasingly the “young and talented” division because it allows for the itty bitties and older athletes.Could be, yes, but Twinkles had quite a few mistakes on NCA 2012 Day 1 so it’s hard for me to imagine they could’ve possibly been in first.
