We saw the Book of Morman in London. I forget how much we paid, but it was in pounds so I tried not to calculate the price in USD ha.

Did you enjoy it?! I bet seeing it on the west end was awesome! I have the soundtrack and I love it. I'm dying to see it but I can't spend the money they want for it right now... My friend bought her and her bf BOM tickets to it for this past Christmas and I was like... How?

Taylor Swift is in town tonight and can we just......

This makes me miss my old job working for a concert promoter. One of the benefits was I could get tickets in the first 10 rows for any concert I wanted to go to - for free. Best.college.job.ever!!!!

We enjoyed it! It was really funny! I liked the first half better than the second, I thought the storyline got a little ridiculous in the second act, but it's from the creators of South Park so I shouldn't be surprised. I don't think I'd be embarrassed to get tickets for my parents if they were into musicals.

Oh trust me, I believe it. I'm paying about $1000 for two seasons tickets to my school's football games. Seven games total. And that doesn't include the amount you have to pay to join the club just to be able to purchase them.

And then I wonder why I'm so broke, lol

DH was seriously considering buying season tickets. I'm over here like "we live 1,000 miles away from the stadium....!!!":p

Even more crazy, my friends got Kenny Chesney tickets on Groupon for this Thursday night (same week, same town, same venue as those insane T Swift tickets) for $24.

Oh my gosh [emoji15] that's insane. Do you know where their seats were??

I have admittedly spent 1100+ on one hockey game for 2 people.. Crazy, I know but it was probably the best hockey game I have ever (and will ever!) see in my life! it was worth it..

Yes! I used to work at a small place, and I saw sooooooooooo many great bands (STP, Matchbox 20, etc - obviously this was in the 90s lol) for FREE and got full access to the whole building including backstage, VIP, etc. Sigh... Those were the days.

Ha! Truth. I live in Chicago, so if there's one thing I know about, it's the price of hockey tickets. #ridiculous

The Hawks are the only Chicago team I've never seen play, because the tickets are so completely outrageous (and that's saying a lot, considering our Bears tickets were a couple hundred dollars!) Meanwhile, Cubs tickets can be gotten for $5 [emoji1] [emoji1] [emoji1]

Out of curiosity just looked at what tickets would cost for tomorrow's game.. STARTS at 300$ (standing room only). lowest price for an actual seat is 581. and everyone thought they had it bad with concerts....

That's actually cheaper than I would have thought. I have devoted my life this week to trying to win tickets. I don't ever listen to the radio, but I've had it on all day every day to try to win.

I'm thinking of getting on the waiting list for Bulls season tickets, or buying in on a share. Obviously the Hawks is never gonna happen, but I'd be just as happy with Bulls I think. I occasionally get free tickets to the Bulls and Sox games from customers ... Oddly those same customers never have Hawks tickets to spare. [emoji12]

I just need a boyfriend with season tickets. I'm adding that to my list of qualities he must have.

I've been almost every big concert east of Montreal. Flew to Ottawa for Fleetwood Mac, $200 tickets. I saw Snoop Dogg, Down With Webster, Classified and a couple local bands at a concert for $50. Avril Lavigne twice (my childhood idol), KISS, The Rolling Stones, Marianas Trench, Flo Rida, Sean Kingston, City and Colour. I'm going to Cavendish Music Fest this summer and will see Eric Church, Keith Urban, and Brantley Gilbert. They're just the big headliners. I don't even listen to country music.

pretty sure when Rangers were still in the playoffs people were selling finals tickets for like up to 100 thousand dollars. ya right. are you expecting bill gates to buy those tickets???

and ahh well good luck!! hope you can win some tickets that'd be awesome :)

When the Rangers were in the World Series a couple years ago i forget which games it was, my dad spent like $500+ for me, my two brothers, my dad and step mom to go! He's a huge baseball fan and so am I and my brothers. We were in the nosebleeds but it was so worth it!!! And we won that game! Lol

Probably crappy, I'm sure. I had no idea his could get so expensive. I'm not even a KC fan and I've seen him for free twice. Once on College Gameday when he was the guest picker for South Carolina (even though he's a Tennessee fan. Whatevaaa)

Haha! If you're close I will say it's 100% worth it! In future years you can consider it and always sell the tickets you don't use.
