So I'm at this Halloween party downtown that me and friends go to every year. And what does my boyfriend do.. Break the zipper on his halloween costume, spends 20 minutes outside fixing it while I'm drinking shots by myself. I'm slowly making friends with the gorilla standing next to me.

One of my first weekends alone in my new place and the power just went out. SOS pretending I'm not terrified.
Will continue to give updates as they become available:
1. 3:45 am- Contemplating whether I should go ahead and eat the Ben & Jerry's I bought today before it all melts.
2. 4:30 am- freaked out because I heard scratching on my door. I just forgot to let my cat in.
3. It is now 9:00 am. Power has been gone for 6 hours. RIP Ben & Jerry's [emoji21]

4. 9:45 am- Ok, so apparently one electric company's pole fell on another's and they're arguing about who should deal with it first... Meanwhile I haven't gone this long without electricity since Hurricane Katrina.
5. Final update! 12:30 pm power has returned. After 9 hours. Ahahaha
