It would be grounds for impeachment. They would probably hold a trial, like NJ Coach just said. Unfortunately, the republicans have total contr of the government right now so the chances of them voting against their own party is slim to none.
unlikely he'd be impeached for this. Trump U is being sued, not him...though I know he's named. Now...there are some future cases that could possibly open the door for impeachment, but this particular case isn't one I'd bet money on.

True. I should've added that it is highly unlikely but depending on that trial and his involvement they could.

. Bill Clinton signed the "Defense of Marriage Act" that defined marriage between one man and one woman. Why does our media hold Pence to a comment that never came into fruition but, they don't hold the Clinton's accountable for something that actually did? What Trump said was atrocious but, rap artists put the same thing out there to this day and it's considered "art". Politicians are more than willing to turn a blind eye to their filth and violence on women as long as the money keeps coming.

Not even addressing your pro-life views because I've learned that we all look that issue from a different stand point that's deeper than a post on a forum.

Bill Clinton also was the first president to actually speak out for support of the LGBTQ community. DOMA was not signed out of beliefs but to avoid further damage (depending on who you ask). Clinton is the same president who pushed ENDA.

And to bring up rap music is a telling argument to me. Rap artists are not the leaders of the free world. Most people don't take music, especially rap music for its context for that reason alone. Gucci didn't get accused of sexual assault by multiple women. There are girls my age who listen to rap and cringe at some lines. But music is art. Sexism is HUGE in Country music. They might not be calling women the b word but the objectification of women in country music has been going on for years. But you never hear that in an argument.

I thought I read something about a racketeering case, but I could be confusing that with something I read for school.
The Trump U case is for fraud and racketeering. This is the one I don't think impeachment would happen for, even if he loses.

On another note, the Canadian Conservative party is holding elections for a new leader in May 2017. They're having a debate tonight, and one of the candidates is concerning. She wants to screen immigrants for "Canadian values", and was one of the people who wanted to set up a hotline for people to report "barbaric cultural practices". There are 9 other people in the running, but it's still concerning someone like that wants to be Prime Minister.
What type of barbaric cultural practices?

Forget the racism, sexism, bigotry and everything else that is Trump (JK, I can't), but can we talk about the vice president for a minute? He denies evolution. He wants all LGBT persons to be sent to CONVERSION THERAPY. He wants to ban all abortion and require BY LAW that if I miscarry or have an abortion that meets his very limited criteria I have to hold a burial service for the clump of cells. He opposes funding for HIV/AIDS treatment. Along with Trump, he denies climate change.

I'm not saying anyone is going to assassinate Trump (though I did see tweets suggesting it), but DT will be our oldest president to date. In addition to that, I've seen so many, "Don't worry Trump will get impeached" posts. DO WE NOT REALIZE WHO WILL TAKE OVER THIS COUNTRY IF ANY OF THOSE SCENARIOS HAPPEN?! Pence is just as terrifying.
Considering our new president is essentially a salesman, with no public office experience and very little actual knowledge of policy, it's feasible that Pence will just do all the work. Which, as a pro-choice, pro-LGBT, pro-separation-of-church-and-state woman, makes me quake in my boots.

Same, girl, same.

I begged every person that I encountered who said they were opting not to vote because both candidates made them unhappy to then ignore Trump/Hillary and vote for the vice presidents. Trump was the perfect puppet to throw up there to distract us while they got Pence in office. Terrifying.

What type of barbaric cultural practices?

Honor killings
Denying education based in gender
Killing/ maiming someone for being gay
Beating girls for leaving the house without a male relative
Female genital mutilation
Forced child marriage
To name a few barbaric practices that are coming into both the US and Canada with some groups of immigrants.

It is interesting that you went this route whereas what @RobinSparkles was referring to (based on her above clarification) was almost solely related to the FLDS groups who have moved to Canada en masse - from the US - the last few years.

The family in that case was Afgani, not FLDS.
Shafia family murders - Wikipedia

Its interesting that you would assume she is talking about FLDS.

I think that might be because the Barbaric Cultural Practices Act (also known by it's less offensive name as Bill S-7) specifically mentions refusing admission to an immigrant if they practice polygamy.

And guess who's smart and didn't realise there's two versions of the mixtape, and that's why My Shot and Quiet Uptown hadn't downloaded...
(oops.)
Polygamy is not limited to FLDS, nor did it originate with them. They do not practice honor killings. They choose to shun members who do not adhere instead. Killings like the one that drove the creation of this law are very uncommon in that culture. Polygamy and honor killings are common in many middle eastern and African cultures who are also immigrating in large numbers. i don't think this law was aimed at the FLDS.

What scares me even more than a Trump presidency is the balance of power. Republicans to took control of the Senate and the House as well. One party now controls two of the three branches of the government. A number of the liberal leaning Supreme Court justices are aging. Given that you serve life terms, they are likely to retire or die during Trump's presidency. That gives him the ability to nominate conservative justices, which will be approve by a conservative senate. (In an attempt to get him approved by a conservative Senate, Obama nominated a moderate justice to replace Scalia. The Republican senate drug their feet and he will very likely not be approved. Giving Trump a nomination right off the bat)

Get a few more conservative voices on the Court and WHAM BAM just like that one party now runs all three branches of government. THAT IS NOT CHECKS AND BALANCES. You have to look past party affiliations and realize that is not good.
