Reading this reminded me of the greatest thing I've found on pinterest!
You can make really cheap, easy icepacks at home in all different sizes and shapes and they are WAY better than the ones you buy. All you do is put dawn dishsoap and some rubbing alcohol in a ziplock and freeze it. If you buy a big bottle of dawn, you can make tons of them in different sized ziplocks. The dawn won't freeze completely, and the rubbing alcohol won't either, so it's flexible but so cold and awesome. Had to pass it on, because I use them alllllll the time. It's great for at home ice packs too.

Funny, I'm thinking I'm gonna need to pick up another job, or just get a new one. My hours have gone down and I'm just SO not in the mood to be a maitre d anymore. Gotta try that serving business...

it's not always so terrible, there are just some instances, like this month, that make me question my sanity.

I am a nanny (some days), work part time in an office (8-4) and then I work at my old faithful high school/college summer job - local ice cream shop - on the weekends and 3 or 4 weeknights (5-11:30 p.m.)

So, for example Monday I will get out of work at 4 p.m. and not have to go to my next job shift until 5 p.m. on tuesday. Those days are fine. I get adequate sleep and can even sleep in if I choose. Some other times, like later on this week, I work 8-4 and 5-11:30 in the same day, and 8-4 the next morning. Those are the days I kick myself for taking on so many jobs.

If you can make it work, I say go for it! You just may be forgoing a social life and/or sleep to do so. I must say, my bank account appreciates it, as does my brand new car :).
