Okay, so my mom agreed to let me dye my hair for the new school year. Its taken alot of convincing... ALOT. But i've narrowed it down to the ombre style that fades lighter. My hair is dark brown and to my mid back! heres what im thinking... which one do yall like better?

My older cp did that - she has light brown hair and it's more subtle than dramatic but it looks very pretty. It will really dry the ends of your hair out though so you have to keep it well conditioned.

So what would you do in this situation...
I've waited to do allstar cheer for around 4-5 years. FINALLY I was given the opportunity. I'm a part of an AMAZING team, one capable of top 5 at Worlds, and I feel so lucky and blessed, BUT there are too many guys. I think total we've had practicing with us around 18-20. The division limit is 15. Right now, as every single guy who has come have competed in the division, competed in university/college, and have cheered for MANY more years than me, they're much more experienced and talented. The team will stay the way it is until after our competition in December, as there are no limits to the number of guys at those competitions. After that, as things are right now, I won't be on the team. I can't decide if it's worth sticking it out and being disappointed, or whether it's better to quit now, hoping that I wouldn't have been given a spot and missed out... I'm seriously MAJORLY torn.

I would say keep doing it. Work your butt off, have an extremely positive attitude, don't slack off, be a team leader, be in the gym as much as you can to work your butt off, have your stunt group come in on days you don't have practice or an hour before practice to work on your stunt, practice practice practice. If you really want that spot on the team that you've been waiting for for 5 years, all of your hard work and dedication will pay off and the coaches will see it. I'm not sure how much this will help you, but if it's something you really want just try your hardest. And if you don't get the spot, ask them what areas you need to improve on and try again next year. You can do anything if you set your mind to it!

College Fiercers: it's textbook time. Where do you get yours? I want to rent them to get them as cheap as possible, and would love some help trying to figure out how to go about them!:D
Wait until after the first class. Ask the professor/teacher how much you will really need the book. Some don't even really use it that much. A lot of the time, you can get what you need just from your syllabus and class notes. It depends on the class, I guess...

honestly you have the opportunity right now do it, because i know if i was in your shoes and was given the time and money to do it even one last time i would jump at the chance, work your but off, and show the wonderful cheersport organization what your capable of and that you are dedicated enough to stick around and are willing to improve have some faith/trust in yourself.. or just do it for the fierceboard section as we will all be rooting for you :)

** wooww i sound like im going way over board on my pep talk but whatever you get the jist of it

I had braces for 3 1/2 years and it sucked. Note, don't mess with a broken wire with your tongue.

I'm getting a cavity filled now.. It's my first one. Kinda freaking me out here

dear lord in heaven. I had THE worst experience of my life getting a cavity filled. My dentist is a big man thats known in my town to be very aggressive with his hands. So He sticks my gums with a needle (ow) and it turns out he did it in the wrong spot! So, he starts drilling my tooth and I could just feel the little drill hitting all the nerves in my tooth! I was screaming in pain and crying. He ended up giving me more needles and prying my teeth apart to get the needle in a good spot. None of it worked and I felt the entire thing. I LOVE the dentist but that makes me want to cry thinking about it. after he said sometimes the numbing doesn't work for some people! -________-

So when i first started working my job at the end of May, i would have at least 8 hour shifts, and most days i would work open until close (11-11) but recently we got a new manager and my hours have been cut RIDICULOUSLY. I'm going in at 8 and closing at 11 or working 7-10 once maybe twice a week if i'm lucky. Its not just me who's hours have been cut its everyone at work. I really love this job and i want to keep it but i really can't afford anything with the hours that i'm getting. And also at the beginning of summer (we are on tip-wage) i would go home with no less that 50$ a night in tips and now i'm lucky if i make ten. For the first time ever this month my paycheck is actually going to be minimum wage since i didn't make at least that in tips...
So, heres my question- do i start looking for another job where i actually get shifts but i hate, or do i keep working the job that i love and get no shifts?

ETA: I've talked to my manager about it and she said there are other people that work there that have to pay for things right now so thats why im not getting as many shifts..
