And I saw on the other theard you said you ranked stars over stingrays.
I am sure stars are an amazing gym but I was wondering how you ranked stars over rays because I've never heard a bad thing about stingrays.
I am not trying to sounde rude and please don't take this in wrong way.

Lol I know what thread your talking about and I understand how that would make people wonder so I'll explain.
There were 2 things that weren't completely cheer related that played into my decision. To move from Jaylen's dad out of state from Tennessee (or over 100 miles away) I would have to get permission from the courts and have valid reasons. I had family in Orlando, Florida and I had family in San Antonio, Texas. Those are the start of good reasons when we have to go to court.
Truthfully, if it wasn't for that and I could have moved anywhere it would of been Maryland for Twisters or Texas for Cheer Athletics. (yes I'm in Texas now but that is way to far away.)
So I was forced to choose between Orlando, Florida or San Antonio, Texas.
I wanted out of Tennessee because no matter how many hours I drove it would not bring me to a gym that does what I want them to for my daughter. However Chattanooga, Tennessee is a town really close to Georgia. That town is exactly 100 miles from Jaylens dad. So I could of legally moved there without going to court. Since it was still in Tennessee and fell within 100 miles of her dad I didn't need the courts approval and if her dad took me to court and I lost I was going to move there. Then I was going to drive hours to get to Stingrays. That would be the only way I could get my daughter to an amazing gym without having to get the approval from the court.
The reason I wanted San Antonio, Texas over living in Chattanooga, Tennessee is because I dislike Tennessee. I don't want my daughter to grow up there and I wanted to move my whole life. Also in order for me to do everything I wanted for Jaylen I didnt want to be driving 2 hours each way. I did that last season (well it wasn't quite 2 hours it was more like 1.5 hours to get her to the gym that we were at in Tennessee before we moved) and it isn't the best. I also don't have family in Chattanooga, Tennessee so that was a strike against it as well. I had nothing against San Antonio, Texas. It was close to the gym I loved! It was one of the places I have always wanted to move too. Plus my brother lives here!
So those were the non cheer reasons but the cheer related reasons is our gym always has amazing lower level teams. We do compete against Stingrays at NCA and I'm confident at least some of our teams can beat them. I have came across some NCA dvd's from the past few seasons and they put the whole division on the DVD and trust me the ones I seen Stingrays wasn't always the best. In fact these are DVD's from our teams who have won NCA and honestly I watched every team and truth be told another gym that has amazing lower level teams is Woodlands Elite.
Now to be fair if my daughter was level 4 or 5 at the time I would have moved to put her at Stingrays because I want her to go to worlds and win. Even if she was level 4 I'd be ok with putting her at Stingrays so she could be with them until she was ready, but she is not. She has some level 4 tumbling but she isn't that strong in everything else. I feel just as confident in our gyms lower level teams as I do Stingrays. I'm also confident with the way our gym is growing and performing that by the time my daughter is 12 that we will have a worlds team. I'm talking about a contender, we aren't going to worlds to not take home anything less then 3rd. People may not see it now but they will know our name. I could not be happier to have my daughter be apart of such an amazing gym. If for some reason my expectation aren't met in the next 5 years thats ok, I'll have my life completely together before then and just move to Dallas, Texas so my daughter can cheer at Cheer Athletics.
As long as she wants to do this I will support her in every way possible. I want it to be everything it can be to her. I'm not sure if that makes sense so to break it down.
If my daughter was level 4 or 5 at the time...
If the gym wasn't 2 hours from where we would have to move too...
If we didn't have to remain in the state of Tennessee...
If I had family there....
Those were reasons that would of helped me choose Stingrays that weren't met.
I chose Stars because it's in Texas...
I chose Stars because I have family here...
I chose Stars because our lower level teams are just as good as Stingrays...
I chose Stars because we actually live close to it...
I chose Stars because I'm 100% confident that we will go to Worlds and be a gym that everyone knows our name one day.
Lol sorry it's so long, and I'm not bashing Stingrays they are amazing but I don't doubt our gym one bit!

I'm well aware her skirt is to small. This skirt is the same size as hers was last season.. Both skirts are made by varsity and both are YS-1 ... However last seasons skirt when held up to this one is at least an inch longer. Now sure how that happened. Lol

Btw, jaylen's practice ended at 6:30 yesterday we got her uniform which took like 10 mins. And we ran home got here at 7. She had another open gym at 7:30 so we left like 7:12. She tried this uniform on, took pics, and put her clothes back on all in 12 mins. So yes I know her skirt is shorter then last season but we are about to put it back on now that we have time and maybe she had it pulled up to far or something and I'm going to see how short it really is. So i am keeping my fingers crossed. Lol

I'm going to Cocoa Beach today in florida :) so excited to be on the sand and tan! And then cheesecake factory at millenia mall :) went to the VS there and got a very cute bathing suit and a new bra! Having a lot of fun in FL went to the prime outlets as well and went to universal..Harry Potter world was clearly the best out of the whole island of adventures park :P

I'm jealous of you. When I posted something earlier about having family in Orlando. It's really my mom and she isn't really in Orlando she lives on Cocoa Beach in Merritt Island. I have not seen her in so long! I hope you are having tons of fun and enjoy yourself.

So it's my birthday & I got a $50 gas gift card and wanted to fill up before I did all my birthday plans today and I ran out of gas on my way to the station -_-
