Thank you very much! :)

ETA: I feel like I should change my picture to a birthday cake for the day.. hmmm.. ;)

Happy Birthday! I'm on my phone so I can't see if you changed your pic or not but if you do make it a cat in a birthday cake or something like that! :P

I'm on my way back from touring UCF (@cheerheart4life) and I loved it! It's a HUGE campus but it's a circle so it's not too bad.

TinyBlondie15 my cat is pretty cute, and he has one eye!:p

Okay so I'm starting to pack up to go to college soon and I have no clue how to go about packing stuff exactly. I don't want to get stuck with a bunch of boxes so what is the best way to go about moving all of my things?

ETA from my understanding, my school's move-in system is basically you wait in a line of cars until you're at the dorm. You empty all your stuff out of the car at once, THEN move in. So it would have to be a way that is quick and easy as well.

I think it depends on what you have. For example: I have those three drawer storage things. I try to just pack everything that's going to stay in them all year already in them. That way you don't really need to unpack them. Then other things like power strips, school supplies, trinkets can go into drawers that have space left over. If you have soft things like pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, etc, the can fit into your fridge. Try to pack as much of your clothes into your duffel bag/suitcase that you plan on taking to and from school and home for breaks. You can put shoes and more clothes/bedding in your clothes hamper too, if it's not one of those foldable ones. I think I only have 2 boxes at the end of move in that I have my parents take back home for me. Good luck! Packing for school is definitely a challenge! Tip - if you have those drawers or anything else that can open easily, duct tape it all shut for transport. You don't want to be that person who pulls something out of their car and everything spills out of it all over the ground. After helping move freshmen in for a few years, I've seen that happen too many times...

ugh im so screwed for school this year, i was supposed to get 14,000 for a loan this year tuition is like 6700, and rooms downtown toronto are like 600-800 a month so thats like 8,400 and i have like 2000 saved so thats all fine right wrong.

turns out i did some of the application wrong so im only supposed to get a 7,000 loan now and have no idea where my money for my living expenses are coming from and i cant get any money from my parents and i cant get classified as a dependent because i havent been out of high school for four years and im not 21

why is growing up so hard?

My sister just moved- and we put her things in plastic bins with labels so everything was organized. It helped soooo much! She could then just unpack and place everything she needed where she wanted it. We also had her just take clothes for the summer/fall and leave all winter stuff except a few pieces she might need. She'll come back and get those when the weather starts cooling down more. My parents took two cars- one with her driving with her bins, and the other them driving the fridge, and futon. Overall they said it was easy to get everything in!

OMG... I only had to wait 10 minutes!! I did love the Millennium. The Raptor was the longest wait for me- about 1 hour and 45 minutes. I just hate waiting in lines, especially in the heat!! I did wait 30 minutes for Chickfila though.... worth it.

The Raptor is normally the shortest line!! That's so weird. The lines are definitely the worst part.

I got a tetanus vaccine yesterday.... I'm in sooooo much pain! :( :( :( my arm is all swollen and it kills to use my biceps so lifting my arms and holding them out is so painful. It feels like they injected a golf ball under my skin. The worst part is I have an 8 hour shift of cashiering tomorrow. bring on the heavy items like bottles of soda, giant ham things and huge packs of water bottles. anyone else ever have this problem? how do i make it feel better.. ive tried ibuprofen.
