When we get snow here (which is not very often in the bayou state) everything shuts down like a blizzard has hit! It could be just a few flurries but we are all too scared to drive around in the stuff. That black ice will kill ya!
My husband's aunt used to lived in NC (I know, still a long ways up North from you) and the ice they would get was crazy!

I remember the first year Celebrity went to Dallas (04 I think?) it flurried and they maybe had an inch or two lightly cover the ground. The city practically shut down and people from other gyms in our hotel were saying we brought the snow with us so we could feel more at home. It was kind of hilarious because some of the hotel workers were so flustered and had never seen snow. IIRC they were talking about closing schools too. We were all kind of laughing because for us, 2 inches is nothing to write home about. On the other hand, hurricanes would scare the living daylights out of me. Glad you guys are all okay!

Today at tumbling class I completely face planted in a ROUND OFF and to make matters worse it was in front of a bunch of odyssey kids. Too embarrassing hahahaha

Being 23 I should know this but:

Is it ok to apply for jobs on the weekends, specifically in-person? I REALLY don't want to work at my current job as much anymore (have two jobs, potentially transferring to my other one full-time if I like it). Let's put it this way: My manager scheduled me for 7 shifts this week. Not only is this impossible (they don't allow us to go over 36 hrs, or 6 shifts), but we're also closed on Monday. He scheduled me for Monday. I'm just honestly sick of this manager and every time I work with him I cry inside. He's SO unintelligent and like a small child. He blamed me for leaving the door unlocked to the office- I'd left 10 minutes prior and he was still in the room. He's a drama queen.

WOW I'm having so much drama this week lol. But seriously, is it weird to apply in person? I want to go tomorrow and make some rounds before I have to go into work.
