Yes......don't get me started on that. Otherwise I LOVED this comp and the town. But giving level 5 jackets and everyone else a sweatshirt is a fail IMHO.

The competition is great! I wish the venue was better, though. Downtown Nashville is like one big party and there are plenty of activities for kids and adults!! Loving this place!!

On the venue, it will probably change next year. Next month the music city convention hall will be open. It was right next to my hotel (Hampton inn) and I was HUGE! I looked really really nice too. It is about a 5 minute walk (waiting to cross the street, it could be more or less) from the old one. :)

I wanted to mention an athlete on my daughter's team. She broke her hand (which we now know is going to require surgery) during warm ups on day two.......and she still competed and nailed everything. She does a featured tumbling pass and is on the last pass during tumbling section. She didn't tell the coaches until after the routine because she didn't want to be pulled and didn't want to let the team down.
I can't express how awesome that is. A true team player. I don't know if we have individual awards or not but I'm going to suggest we create one for that.
