I was recently following a situation in MO in which a dance coach was FIRED due to racism and basically bullying only Black dancer on team.
Stipulations of her removal stated that she could not coach the dance team or attend dance team events.
LOOPHOLE: She has been found to be attending events anyway and they can't say anything because she is allowed to (for example) be in the stands at a game. She is technically not coaching. Annoying.
Maybe this is the same situation (ex: thumbing nose at the rule and saying "but I'm not COACHING SO you can't do anything. I'm allowed to just BE HERE.)
The lists of sanctions don’t identify the program, or the coach/owner. So I’m also pretty curious. It kind of seems like USASF is relying on the honor system for any sanctions outside of fines. I’m sure they take the fines right away. How does one tell which gym/owner it is associated with a listed offense?

Exactly. The fact that it all is not public knowledge is also baffling. If I'm going to join a gym, I want to know if there have been issues with USASF, but god forbid we hold gyms accountable.
In some cases sure. But I’m thinking it is a pretty clear that gyms don’t actually have to be accountable for their violations this way.I think you just have to connect the dots between disciplinary reports, behavior, and rumours.
Everyone it is all okay, remember Scott suspended himself from coaching for an entire weekend last year. Underage drinking made possible by a gym owner who was also drinking with the athletes has been appropriately self punished. Nothing to see here...Exactly.

Is he allowed backstage and given a coach pass?
