That ballroom would stink to high heaven! Pageant moms would have blinged out customized diapers, to show off their baby's glitter poop...Oh my god, could you imagine it for pageants. The little babies talent would be pooping glitter...
For people wondering about the cutting of such lovely tiered cakes... generally each tier is on its own "platform" (cardboard or plastic) which is supported all the way to the base of the cake. When cutting, each tier is removed from the assembly and then sliced.
If you are making the cake yourself and not that experienced with fondant, there are many simple things to do with buttercream! One technique I've used often for cheerleading cakes is essentially tracing a pattern (like a logo) onto the cake and filling it in / outlining it with a variety of stars and lines. Wilton has a good description of the technique (and many others!) on their website: Transferring Patterns.
