High School Pyramid Length

How many 8 counts is your pyramid?

Our stunt sequence is 5 1/2.

Our Pyramid was I think 7 1/2 last year. I am debating how many 8 counts to make our dance and how many to allocate for pyramid as we head into choreography next week. I like to make sure I have plenty of time to allow for two count dips to make things nice and crisp/clean rather than rushed.

We have 13 8-counts open.

This season our varsity pyramid is exactly 8 - 8 counts. Dance is 2.
JV's pyramid is 8.5 - 8 counts. Dance is also 2.

I usually do about 6-8 8-counts depending on size of team and difficulty built in.
