Speaking to one of their coaches last night, he said they all for the most part stayed together as a J5 and are even betterDoes anyone know if ECE J5 stuck together and were all on the same team? I know they were like 1 short of being able to be a senior 5 team...
So I was watching Viqueens spirit finals video from Worlds and came across this comment:
i just wanna say that this team had to change their entire routine in an hour or two because they had too many people on the mat.. and they still killed it..
Anyone know more about it? It so sad that silly mistake like this one may cost them gold.
Do you mean Viqueens Spirit or Ice Queens? Viqueens are from Norway. Vancouver Ice Queens are from Canada.I find that really hard to believe. Canadian rules aren't that different and Viqueens have competed in the US before. They're not stupid, they know the rules. It's not like there's a language barrier like with Bangkok.

Now, Viqueens MIGHT have had to do it if they had miscounted and were an 'allstar team turned national' for ICU (which is how we got into the Bangkok debacle in the first place). But outside of that, yes, you're right. They've come here enough where you'd think they would know the rules..
I know Cali is pretty much going to all competitions they went to last year (I could be wrong, but that's what I heard).Does anyone know what Cali or PCM's comp schedule looks like? I think I'm gonna be in Cali in November/December and just wondering what comps are around then? Maybe @AndrewSky can help?
Could someone tell me (and where in the rules to find it) whether a bird front is legal at level 2? Not sure if that's what you call it here, but the flyer goes up to extension then the backspot pulls the ankles backwards and the bases catch the flyer in prone. Hopefully that made sense...
I looked in the rules but couldn't see anything about dismounts to prone, if I was even looking in the right place?
Am I the only one who doesn't understand that stupid deduction for shoes or bows falling off and someone stepping on them? I understand a safety issue and all but I don't think anyone's gonna break their necks from stepping on a bow
I think it's a precaution. Most of the time, the bow on the floor won't cause harm too anyone. But during a tumble pass, slipping on it could be a different story. Therefore, all accessories must be secured tightly, and you get deducted if they aren't, even if no one gets hurt.
