It's to try to instill patience in the fiercers and for them to practice patience before they can post excessively ;)
(totally didn't seen cheerbank's post when i put that lol)

Welcome to the boards. :)

72 hr delay is to give people new to the boards a chance to explore a tamer section of the boards and get an idea of how things can go. Main boards can get very rough and sometimes personal attacks ensue and feelings are hurt.

The parents section is also a good (and tamer) area for parents. Parts are private so those not granted access cannot see what is talked about.

Not sure if your name indicates a business making and selling bows but if it does I would recommend not creating a new thread advertising your business or even talking about bows. Depending on the day and mood of some people it could go completely ignored or it could get a lot of negative attention and not end up so well. Using the search bar you can find a few threads existing that advertise other bow companies and you can add to those if you want.
