Hello,

I recently became the volunteer cheer coach at my local rec center.
I am really excited but am struggling to think of a cheer.
Could anyone help? My girls cheer for JT Harvard Park, though GPLA, and our colors are maroon, white, and black.

The cheer program is just an 8 week session for girls in undeserved areas. So my plan is to come up with a short routine and cheer(with help) that the girls can learn within their allotted time so at the end they can have a showcase for friends and family.

H A R VARD (saying letters in a spell out)

Harvard, cheers HARDER (you can do some creative sign work here)

Repeat x 2 (never forget the rule of 3s)

JT fans stand up and yell Maroon, Black, White

Maroon, Black, White

JT fans stand up and yell Fight Harvard Fight

Fight Harvard Fight

JT fans stand up and yell maroon black white x fight Harvard fight

Maroon black white
fight Harvard fight

ETA: I had a little bit different version originally in my head, but it would really depend on the number of kids you have, and if you’re going to stunt/how many stunts you would use.

Thank you so much! I am taking 20 girls ages 7-13. I am thinking the cheer will be super simple arm movements, because this is going to be a lot of the girls first time cheering I don't want to do anything crazy. Especially since I only get them one day a week, for one hour... basically 8 hours.

DID YOU COME UP WITH THAT BY YOURSELF JUST NOW??? I’ve literally been reusing the same cheer for years. So this is like watching someone win a chess match in four moves for me.
