I was happily reading about Chris visiting the Stingray gym for the first time when I saw a post that Madeline had lost her hard fought battle. My sincere sympathy to her family and to her ACE family. She sounds like she was a wonderful young lady who touched so many lives.

I have honestly just been in complete shock since I heard a few days ago. This is affecting me in a way that I would not have expected it to, and I am just sending positive thoughts her family's way.

I hate seeing this thread. Because it makes me very sad. I can't stomach kids being sick and I fear losing one close to me. When I would see pictures of Madeline here or on Facebook, I could tell that she was going to beat the cancer. She was too fierce. So I am sad that her body wasn't able to fight like the spirit she had radiating from her. Because it was powerful. And that's how I know she will be remembered by everyone who crossed her beautiful path.
