All-Star Rotten Girls

Okay there's this girl from another team in Maine that we compete against. They placed higher than us last year in States with 2 handsprings and libs for stunts and terrible scorps. We had 4 handsprings one tuck a hand layout hand and a full with beautiful stretches scales and arebesques. lets just say they did NOT deserve to win. but anyway, theres a girl on their team running her mouth because a teammate and i are excited about cheering this winter. shes saying things like "loling at them because they think theyre gonna get the title" and dexter sucks blah blah. dexter is my team haha. but then we say anything back and they delete all of their statuses and threaten to go show their coach. advice on how to handle these girls?

ignore it.

let your next competition shut them up, they are just trying to make you all mad. by responding to it, they succeed.

Perhaps not visiting their page and you won't feed into the drama? If you ignore them, they will stop;)

Do not respond, but for safety, i would print screen all of their messages/statuses/comments though. If they decide to play ugly(er), you have proof if they deny it.

I am from NH and I used to cheer for an All Star Gym in Maine. I have see some wicked nasty things on video of maine states. Youd think it was Worlds or something the way these people are talking. Its awful ! As hard as it is you really have to follow everyones advice and ignore it.. otherwise you asked for advice for no reason if your not going to take it :D best of luck !

Since only one team from Maine goes to worlds (Planet Cheer's IOC5 I think), for most Maine hs cheerleaders states IS worlds to them. There is so much drama it's insane.

We have a TON of cheerleaders from NH that are on ECE that are a part of NHIAA States and theres absolutely no youtube drama.. It could also be because the top 2 schools copyright their material so anyone caught uploading their videos gets the plank.. but yeah.. Its crazy !

One of the teams my girls competed against all season decided to scrape off some of the paint on our fans' cars at our most recent competition. After learning about it, we decided to do nothing; ignore it. Kill 'em with kindness and let our performance on the mat speak for us. We ended up placing and advancing to the next round; they didn't.

So basically, I agree with everyone else: ignore the girls. Nothing will frustrate them more. :) Good luck!
