Yeah, I don't get why they are performing there? And like how did they get involved with it? It just seems like the most random thing to perform at a political convention.
Just my personal opinion...
I think it is inappropriate to bring a group of high school(and some middle school?) aged girls to anything politic-related. Not to mention the parents, I guarantee there are several republican supportive parents.
Not a good decision, I hope most of the kids don't go.
The convention is being held in NC in downtown Charlotte. The organizer of the entertainment for those in attendance wanted to showcase NC athletes/performers who have been recognized nationally/internationally. I understand Charlotte is home to the world champion clogging team, we're honored to represent our state along with them as a current world champion for cheer.
I'm hoping they just like, do a stunt and leave.
I love CEA, no doubt. But this.... its weird? Great opportunity! But not for a bunch of highschoolers...
