All-Star Sitting In Someone Elses Practice..

I would give my right pinky toe to sit in on a Senior Elite or Junior Elite practice

The real discussion should be...what did you learn sitting in their practice?

As a cheerleader, ask:
-How do the teams interact with one another and work as a team? (Are they talking over each other, getting along, all about the business, etc.?)
-Does the team stretch individually, with partners, as a team? What techniques do flyers use to overstretch, time allotted for stretching, etc.
-What techniques does the gym use for transitions (full up, walk-ins, etc..... look at bounce, sets, timing, etc.)
-How does the gym advance their skills; encouragement by teammates, individual will power, recognition by coach, etc?

It's great to watch other teams...but its what you take away from that practice is what counts!

I've been privileged to see quite a few Kentucky Elite & ACE practices, obviously. I've also seen practices at MD Twisters, Cheer Athletics, Stingrays, Infinity Titans, MAC's All Stars, Peak Athletics & Cheer Central Suns. If there are others, I'll try to post them as well.
