Everyone's already looking forward to SE this season.. they have been since the showcase last year practically! Med Coed is a new team so Courtney might have wanted to give a little bit of a teaser to give CEA fans even more excitement and show what's in store.

Whoa..I'm new to the youtube posting deal...clearly I underestimated the prowess of fierceboarders. I posted this really old footage for a few hours for JR to see where things go..I just learned how to make videos on my mac...kinda flattered anyone even found it

1.It's named for them, with their pictures on the wall in remembrance of THEIR accomplishments - Appearance of favoritism
2.Are other teams offered the chance to keep getting new unis? Are other girls/guys offered modeling opportunities for GK? - Appearance of favoritism
3.They won Worlds HOW many times, and how many times in a row? - Appearance of favoritism/stacking.
You're just proving my point though. It's easy to look out and automatically 'see' exactly what we want to see. I could look at the Shooting Stars arena, the fact that you are specially selected to tryout for Stars, and the fact that they have all sorts of little special things for them as 'evidence' of favoritism. But if you ask MANY of the parents there, they're quick to defend it as 'how it is' and that 'everyone in the gym wants to be a shooting star, even the boys!' Unless you're in that gym, with every team, you don't know how ANY of these coaches/teams fully operate. Same for the other gyms. And I think the fact that it was Courtney herself working with them on the video shows EXACTLY how much she cares about each and every team there.
*About finding the video- we're turning into TMZ and 4chan (TMZ found Casey Anthony and 4chan found that girl throwing puppies to drown in a river..she'd videotaped herself, idiot). I'm interested to see how it all comes together..I thought I heard her say some of the stunts weren't going full-out so I'm eager to see what it REALLY is. Pyramid looks awesome though..I have SO much Teal to be excited about this season.

I wanted to add: I don't really believe ANY of these teams are favored over others, I'm just trying to show how people can misinterpret things purposefully or otherwise..in case that's not clear :)

There are ways to make videos unlisted so only the people with the link you give them can see it. However I hate sharing this info because I do love getting to see any sneak peek from CEA! Love getting to see how you run practices. You should post more videos!

maybe I'll be taking the role of a spoon here (stirring the pot.. in case that joke wasn't funny and/or understandable), but I've heard multiple times that the girls of F5 haven't paid for most of those uniforms, but that doesn't matter really. I don't argue with the supposed "favouritism" of Stars, F5, Senior Elite, Orange, whoever. They are arguably the most successful teams in the gym (with the exception of maybe Supercells over F5, but I don't know specifics), and they are the best (no offence to members of any other senior level 5 teams at those gyms) senior level 5 teams at WCSS, MDT, CEA, and Rays, so of course, the younger kids strive to be on those teams one day, and of course those teams are going to be held to a higher standard, ultimately producing better athletes on those teams, and more time spent with those teams.
Also, the arena is named the Shooting Star arena because Shooting Stars (the team name at least) literally started World Cup's growth, and, if I remember correctly, was the first ever team at that gym. It has nothing to do with the current athletes on the team (who, of course, should not feel as though they are less important) it has to do with the fact that it is the most iconic and recognizable name from World Cup, regardless of their current division. I'm sure if the mini level 1 team was given that name, they'd be, in some way, incorporated in the "legacy" of the gym, possibly with an arena.
