All-Star So I Have To Pay For My Own All Star Cheerleading This Year...

So this year i have to pay for my own cheerleading if i want to cheer. I have a job but i also have to pay for my phone, credit card, and car insurance oh and dont forget gas -__-. We do fundraisers through the gym but its not always easy, im looking for ideas to help me raise money to be able to pay ive been cheering for ten years and i dont know what i would do without it. Any ideas or suggestions would be great (:

well firstly i'd retire the credit card if possible. i'd also try to just save money as much as possible. if you're driving somewhere that you can walk, thats a good start!

well i dont use the credit card anymore its for emergency's but i used it to pay for my phone so i still have to pay it off either way. and nothing i have to drive to is in walking distance unfortunately :[

A lot of gyms permit cheerleaders to work off tuition by helping out around the gym. Would that be possible?

Ask for sponsorships. Type up a quick bio that gives a little detail about you, your year in school, job, activities, and a sentence about why you're so passionate about cheer and what it has taught you. Ask the sponsors to send payment directly to the gym, with your name in the memo field of the check.
Make lots of copies and hand them out to every adult that you've ever met - your manager at work, your doctors, parents in the gym, the gym owner, the gas station worker that sees you filling up every week, your own parents, family, friends' parents, EVERYONE.
Ask for help, honey. I promise, it works. This board and my Facebook/twitter/IG followers got Little and me to Worlds this season because I asked.

Im going to talk to them to see what i can do, i also recently switched gyms and it was easier at my old gym because i coached and instructed tumbling but they dont need coaches or tumbling instructors at my new gym, but im going to talk to my coach and see if theres anything i can do. thanks!!(:

Thats a good idea thanks! yeah i recently switched gyms and at my old gym we had sponsor letters that was kinda along the same lines as that, but its hard because a lot of people think its not important because im 19 and think i shouldnt still be cheering. But ill ask my coach/owner if thats okay then try it, never hurts to try thank you!

Get involved with Camps/Clinics for younger kids in your area, to make some extra $$ maybe???? With the letters you are giving out, I would have an attached video of your skills, teams, etc, so they can see exactly what you are involved with, that would/should help with someone wanting funds and knowing what All Star Cheer is all about.....:)
