Special Needs Athlete On Elite Team

I have an athlete with special needs who is on our S1 team. She is amazing and does really well in routine but lacks some technique and has some timing issues. We have incorporated her throughout our routine (tumbling, stunts, and dance) as she has been cheering for many years and has level 1 tumbling skills. Our scores do suffer for tumbling syncing and technique issues. Does anyone know about any regulations for scoring elite athletes with special needs?
