This is disgusting.........before I read the story I thought she tried out and they were trying to decide if she could be on the team or not but no........it seems she's been on the team and they removed her and are deciding if she can rejoin. Did I read that correctly?

If a school wants to set standards for sideline and/or competitive cheer, I'm okay with that and with the special needs athletes having to meet those standards.

But don't add an athlete and then remove her for a ridiculous reason. Apparently there was a coaching change that may have impacted this.

That's what I was betting on. Someone decided she didn't fit into their idea of what the team should look like so maybe now she's a safety liability. Bullspit.
