At the battle at the beach they announced small gym winners as D2 winners but that didn't mean they were necessarily going for d2 summit bid . For example small gym's team came in third in their division but the 1st and 2nd place winner were large gyms. So when they announced the small gym team ad third place they also announced that they won out of small gyms in that division and called them D2 winners of their division.

We took first place in our division and won the D2 banner as well. Who knows which Summit bid we were in for. All I know is we didn't get one, which made BATB my daughter's last comp ever. At least she went out on a win though!
