There's something I wonder if Varsity didn't think about. I know not every skill, age, and size is not represented at the Summit. I didn't make a complete list but the last time I checked there was no Y3L. So no Y3L scored well enough to make it to the Summit I assume and therefore have no "national champion" either.

Varsity has to think about that. Some may have gotten AL bids but declined. Perhaps Varsity should make it a point that each division gets at least 2 paid bids so you'll have all divisions represented. Just a thought.

Is it like other varsity events (25% day 1, 75% day 2) or like worlds where you get a clean slate each day?

There's no guarantee that teams will accept a Paid bid either. I know of gyms that weren't accepting any bids they received, paid or at large.

I don't think scores go into day 2.I think day 2 is a clean slate.

Our senior 3 did amazing and have a perfection score either 98.4 or 98.8 I don't know I have got conflicting info but I'm so happy they better make day 2
