They are eligible for paid. Just not at large.
Bummed there are none in California. Seems like mostly mid and eastern US
It seems we didn't go to that many comps last year where bids were being given out.

Not quite. There are definitely teams that walked away without a worlds bid last year, but it was close. They're cutting bids this year though - 2AL for every FP instead of 3.
You're right...aren't there 40 divisions, not 11? small, large, coed for each youth, junior, and senior 1-5? (last season the summit had 35ish divisions as some didn't have enough for small/large splits)
If you get a wildcard and place 1st does it guarantee you a spot in Sunday finals or do you still have to be top half on Saturday to make it to Sunday?
You win Friday, you advance to Saturday. You'd still need to make top 10 to advance to SundayIf you get a wildcard and place 1st does it guarantee you a spot in Sunday finals or do you still have to be top half on Saturday to make it to Sunday?

We just got our comp schedule last night, so I am not expecting to go to Summit since we only go on a full paid! Those wild cards are useless for us. LOLIt seems we didn't go to that many comps last year where bids were being given out.
We just got our comp schedule last night and the only one we are going to is San Jose, so I am not expecting to go to Summit since we only go on a full paid! Those wild cards are useless for us. LOL
