They tried and asked but were not given any, similar to what others posted on here. Oh well! At least we snagged a Finalist t-shirt lolYour coaches should have picked them up when they went to registration

I know - the finalist pins were gone before most finalists were even announced (I even went downstairs in the milk/field house) , you could only buy champion pins (on day ONE) - everything went fast - I do not think they were prepared very well for supply/demand lolThey Tshirts were gone. ;(
call varsity....we just ordered a champion tee shirt last week and they are shipping it to us!! (Since your CP's team won their division also)They Tshirts were gone. ;(
I would love to see pictures of the pins, t-shirts or other goodies everyone got at the Summit! :)
Here is the finalist t-shirt! My CP on left :-)I would love to see pictures of the pins, t-shirts or other goodies everyone got at the Summit! :)
And to add, I believe it's a bit ridiculous to have a Worlds-type competition for Level 1... I don't know how I feel about this, but I'm just going to go out on a limb... I don't like the idea of other levels having the same privileges of Level 5... If anything maybe the Summit could be just Level 4, or 4 & 3 and be in the much smaller DisneyLAND LOL but this could just be my selfish self...
Personally, I think the fact that all levels can go is truly the great thing about it. I'm level 4.2. I've been level 2 for 8 years, one year on level 3, and now a year on 4.2. I'm never going to go to worlds, my tumbling isn't strong enough. It's great for girls like me who are almost at the end of their cheer "careers" who want that level of competition but can never really get all the way to worlds. I loved going to the Summit because it's my Worlds!
Yep. There should be a rule: If you competed at Worlds, you are not eligible to compete at Summit. Boom. One gym that I know of personally used a few level 5 Worlds athletes that stayed and competed on a Senior level 3 team which I feel is unfair. They did not compete on the Senior 3 team during the year. I think the only way they should be able to compete at the Summit is if they were doubleteaming the whole year. I think teams try to stack their lower level teams for a better chance at winning. The competition was run just as well as Worlds (just smaller crowds). Impressed with it, just hope they control the rosters for future competitions.
It's the same way with worlds...a 12 year old could go but a 13 or even 14 year old on a junior team can't. No way around that problem
But if a kid is on a level 5 junior team, they will most likely be on a senior 5 when they age out, so they will get their time.
