Tall flyers

i love tall flyers especially when they're super flexible and tight in the air. not just saying that because im the tallest flyer on my team, and the most flexible. but i just love the look of any tall flyer in the air!!

Yes we have tall flyers. I AGREE that they look prettier in the air. i think when someone uses a short flyer that looks like shes ten i think "comeo n, really?" but there are some flyer who are tall and very very VERY heavy, but they think there light and when they come down adn don't catch there bases there like a bag of bricks

i hate that!! just because you are a flyer does NOT mean you weigh absolutely nothing. i agree tall flyers can feel heavy if they dont know how to hold their weight correctly.

Why do all cheerleaders spell fliers with a 'y' instead of an 'i'?

Tall fliers look really good in the air, but it's usually the shorter girls who are the best at stunting and flying. Just like the best basketball players are the taller ones, they're just lucky to have those abilities.

I personally love tall flyers...only if they are flexible and look "right" in the air if that makes sense--Although, I am not really flying anymore :confused: I am about 5'2-3ish and 110lbs..and I am considered a "tall" flyer haha When it comes to overall stunt appearance, I'd prefer to look at flyers with similar flexibility/height versus a few short non-flexible flyers and one or two taller flexible flyers or vice versa. It just looks a little off to me...but I guess if they are positioned properly it doesn't look as off.

if a team has mixed flyers wouldn't it make more sense for the taller girl to have shorter bases and then shorter girl to have taller bases, so they look even on the floor,

to me a flyer can be the height of a giraffe, or a garden knome, it doesn't matter as long as they WORK IT OUT!

i love tall flyers but we have most short flyers on senior 3, junior 2, and senior 2. but senior 4 has a few flyers on the tall side !

tall flyers look gorgeous in the air, but short ones are better for pyramids/flipping. The lines created from long legs, especially in scorps and scales (straight-legged ones at that) are very aesthetically appealing. Long legs can get in the way! Haha :) One of my pet peeves is a flyer with long, gorgeous legs but bent knees in heel stretches/ scales!
