All-Star Teams Getting Cheated

I really think you need to watch what you are saying. This is going to open a can of worms that you don't want to deal with. And I'm sure @Ceacoach will 100% disagree with what you said.

I do not think that the uniform you wear has anything to do with placements. When you start naming specific competitions, divisions, and teams, then maybe people will listen to your argument.

I was not saying that the only reason CEA wins is because there known, there known cause there good and thats why they win!!

ok well i use to cheer at CEA and i was just wondering what people thought about the scoring and if there are teams out there that have gotten cheated.

It's one thing feeling cheated because of placements. When you feel cheated its because you don't get to see the scoresheets of the other teams. I think if you knew where they outscored you (maybe their dance and jumps made up the difference) then people would feel better.

But to say "i was on CEA and we got better scores because we are 'known'" is completely incorrect and not what you want to be conveying about your gym. If you said you have better coaches and choreographers and the best people from the industry to help you because of your gym which may LEAD to better scores, then that is a different situation.

How I look at the big gym vs small gym issue with a routine, is that a big gym has more resources available to them while a smaller gym may not because of $ or size. Before you argue with me, look at a big gym with 40+ coaches and a small gym with 5-10 coaches. The big gym has a lot more people that are able to add to the pot and can contribute their input. I am NOT SAYING that small gyms don't have amazing coaches or anything of that nature.

i don't know about teams but i think i got cheated with these boards nominations or lack there of!

this certin team beat mine at a local competition. we hit our routine, they didnt. months later at cheersport nationals we took first they took eleventh or 12th? but those kinds of things annoy me, even when it isnt with my teams..any teams!

yeah then at a local competition (glcc nationals) they were in 1st day one only. (jr.2) the only reason they were in 1st (we hit flawlessy), our coach was upset, another one of our teams got a legality deduction when something wasnt illegal? (did the WHOLE year, cheersport, jmfst super nlts, ect.) so they didnt want to give us 1st place. but they had to, because if not....it would of been so wrong? but the team (youth 1) with the deduction from my gym got 2nd and clearly should of won, espcially when the coaches from the 1st place team say that to you!

can i just say anytime i have been cheated its been at jambrands competition. (jamfest and us finals.) and we do work very hard, i mean if we won cheersport and not a local..and the team that beat us took last at cheersport? working pretty hard...

it wasnt illegial though. it looked like it was? it was our youth 1 and they said only one stunt did it illegial and they just scooted back and they thought it looked like a full 360 at thystand to below prep!
