The Cheer Community Is A Family

I am an allstar cheer mom and former jr high and high school cheer coach. I ran across an article about the Top Gun athletes who were recently killed in an auto accident. My heart goes out to their teams and families. It doesn't matter how competitive we are on the mats, there is a bond within the entire cheer community that outsiders can't and don't understand. Forget that "Dance Mom" crap we see on TV, I have never met a coach or parent behave that atrociously (and I have seen some doozies over the past 18 yrs). But I digress, I pray that we as a community remember to show compassion and support for the Top Gun Family.
