It's become pretty obvious when chyeeaaa69 is being "mean-spirited" or just blunt; here I can assume the latter and support what he was saying. I'm also open to being pleasantly surprised by CT Love (if fact, I'd LOVE that because Cheer Tyme was one of the first gyms I fell in love with back when I joined allstar cheer in 03-04), but based on their past few seasons of Worlds teams, I'm inclined to think they'll probably look more like the #4 and #5 place teams from Worlds 2012 in the large senior division (AS-1 and Charlotte Gold); no offense to them.

10 + standing fulls, 15+ doubles, 9 Elite stunts, Killer Pyramid/Dance are a bare minimum... it's no easy feat to get 36 athletes to compete (competitively) with the elites.

No I agree. That's why I said I doubt any team could come out in their first year with those numbers. So his comment sort of set them up for failure. No one can truly expect a new LRG senior team from a first year gym (Chantilly), to have those skills. Even if there was a bunch of talking the team up, and there probably was, what team isn't ever talked up?

I honestly want the curse to go on forever, so we can hope each year that it FINALLY will be broken.

i believe stars and F5 will see each other at One Up Nationals to add to that list as well... (well i saw WCODY is going, so i'm assuming stars too - or i'm delusional :p)

In the Medium AG division. The curse only lives in the Large AG division.

correct! hence, its called the LARGE SENIOR curse :D

I think the closest it would have ever come to happening is when F5 won large senior open in 05. I know it wasnt the same division but probably the closes possible.

I don't. What I'm trying to say is that it has been my observation that Stars always seem to struggle with their stunts, despite the difficulty of the actual stunt. On the other hand, teams like Senior Elite stunt in a way that looks very natural/second-nature to them. I'm assuming that this discrepancy can be attributed to differing stunting techniques and coaching methods.

I always said that I wished I could cheer at Green Bay and CEA for just one year.
CEA always tick tocks like theyre not even changing feet, and there has to be something the coaches do when teaching tick tocks that makes them so effortless and I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS.

Same can be said for GBE and Full Ups.

I hope that the fact that 2/5 of these amazing teams could be going home with nothing come Nca/worlds weekend (aside from an amazing experience and getting to compete!) is a major stimulus for this season. We could all pretty much predict that F5, SS and SE would take home a globe in 2012 but this year it's anybody's title and I hope that come April we are in for a helluva show!

As much as i love SE,F5 and Stars. Im hoping Peach or Panthers win wolrds / NCA. At this point all three f5,stars,and se have won worlds, i just want Panthers or Peach to beat them just because there so underestimated.

Panthers won Worlds in Large Senior in 2006.
