I learned that if you have no idea what's going on in a thread, sometimes it's better to try & find out yourself then to post and ask about it..

That I have some sort of obsessive issues...I feel the need to check this board multiple times a day..why???? ;)

I still don't understand why senior 4 can't go to worlds...I mean, they work just as hard as the rest of us!

;)

To not be obnoxious
To be classy, especially to those who have been on the boards longer than you
Pick your battles
Spell check your posts

I extend my cheer knowledge.
No matter how many times people point out there is a search bar, people will still NOT use it -_-
How amazing and helpful people can be on here.
How sarcastic and hilarious people can be on here.
The GIF/Memes of worlds weekend thread is probably the best thread of the year.
Only on the fierce board, summer is the most dreaded, long and boring time of the year.

As with any social media, think before you post. I can't count the number of times I have seen someone post something hastily and later go back into the post and apologize. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Read it twice. Does it sound the way you want it to?

Don't get defensive. People around here aren't generally mean-spirited, so don't take things too personally. Remember that you have the right to post your opinion here, but the same goes for others too.

Proofread your posts. Don't make the they're/there/there, you're/your, and other mistakes if you can help it.

People from gyms, big and small, have a lot of the same issues as your team/gym. This is a great place to get ideas and learn. Fierceboard has opened up my view of cheer, and it's helped me to see parent and athlete perspectives better. I am a better coach because of this board.

Meet people from Fierceboard at competitions. You probably have more in common with them than most of your "real" friends. Some of my favorite cheer friends are people that I met here.
Ditto.

To speak to others, especially adults who by far have more life experience and wisdom than I, respectfully, politely, appropriately. Also, how to admit your mistakes. And that some things should be left alone and you can't stick your nose in/know everything about everything!
